WHAT WE BELIEVE

As a community, what binds us to one another are these elemental truths.

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
      creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
      He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
      was crucified, died, and was buried;
      he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
      He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the holy catholic church,
      the communion of saints,
      the forgiveness of sins,
      the resurrection of the body,
      and the life everlasting. Amen.

WIND

Spirt — God is real. He seeks to encounter us and to be encountered.

We value the presence, gifts, and fruit of the holy spirit.  We believe that the fruit and gifts of the holy spirit are essential and operating in the body of christ today. we assert that, at best, gifts of the spirit void of the fruit of the spirit is magic, and that the fruit of the spirit without the gifts of the spirit is humanism.

EARTH

Community — God is love. We will seek to be like god. to love without condition, to give extravagantly, to do good.

To do justice is to worship.
